A tour to remote Borgarfjordur Eystri, the land of puffins and elves, where you will visit the home of the Elf Queen, the puffin hill and take an optional hike in a rhyolite gorge!

We pick you up at the dock and drive over some spectacular mountain passes to Borgarfjordur Eystri, one of the most remote towns in the Eastfjords.
At the end of the road past town is a charming harbour and the puffin rocks Hafnarholmi, one of the best places to view the puffins from really close.
On the way back, we stop to visit Alfaborg, the home of the Elf Queen, and take an easy walk through the colourful Innra-Hvannagil gorge.
Since it is a private tour, the exact itinerary can be tailored as per your preference. You can set the pace, stop for less or more time at the sights and for photos along the route.
