This tour is the perfect option for seeing Dynjandi in a day trip from Reykjavik (flying with Air Iceland Connect), or if you are staying in Isafjordur without a car.

A customised pickup location in the Ísafjörður area is possible for private tour bookings.
We drive straight to Dynjandi. Along the way we drive through one of Iceland's longest tunnels, over two scenic mountain passes and through three of the most beautiful fjords of Iceland: Önundarfjörður, Dýrafjörður and Arnarfjörður.
We reach Dynjandi, the majestic icon of the Westfjords. The moment you see the magnificent top waterfall tier from the parking lot, and hear the thundering echo of that and the six smaller waterfalls beneath it, will surely take your breath away. We stop for up to an hour to walk around and enjoy this amazing place. The top tier is certainly the most impressive but each one of the other six is unique in its own right! We highly recommend the relatively easy hike up to the top tier for those who are fine with the slight ascension and stone steps along the trail.
On our way back we stop for 45 minutes at Hrafnseyri where you can enjoy light refreshments, explore the traditional turf houses and church, or optionally visit the free-admission museum dedicated to Iceland's independence hero Jón Sigurðsson who was born in Hrafnseyri.
You will enjoy the fantastic landscape of the Westfjords all throughout the tour.
